Required Skills for Android Developer

Android Development Core: Good Knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin & Android Jetpack Components. For example, I can use navigation, ViewModel, Room, and Workmanager.
UI/UX Experience: Implementing and designing good user friendly and Good looking appealing UIs using XML & Jetpack Compose.
API Integration: Good Skill in RESTful APIs and Handling capacity using Ktor or Retrofit.
Database: Good knowledge of databases & Proficient in writing SQL queries.
Version Control: Know how to handle Version controls like Git for a collaborative environment.
Debugging and Problem-Solving: Good knowledge in Optimization to get a smooth application performance
Architecture Patterns: Good knowledge of architecture patterns like MVI, MVP & MVVM.
Good Programming: Know how to code in Kotlin coroutines for asynchronous Development.

Interview process of ZOHO Android Developer

Aptitude Round

In this round, they will evaluate your aptitude and basic programming skills. You will be given around 25 to 30 Questions in Fill in the blanks format. You should complete it within 60 Minutes.
It is an elimination round, at least try to score 80 to 90 percent before moving to next round of Interviews.

Coding Round 1

This is the basic Programming round, they will evaluate your problem-solving skills with questions mostly from Arrays, strings, matrices, patterns,s, etc…
You should complete each and every program in the expected time.
You will be given around 5 to 7 Questions at least solve 5+ to qualify for the next round of interviews.

Coding Round 2

This is an advanced programming round and it’s a little bit more complex than all other rounds but if you practice well then you can easily solve this advanced programming round for Android developers.
Focus on the Previous set of questions and most importantly on the Booking concept because In Advanced Programming they usually ask these types of Booking questions like Railway reservation, bus ticket booking, and Flight ticket booking.
Allocated time for this round will be 2 to 3 hrs try to finish as soon as possible.

Technical Interview

This round involves most of the questions from your resume and their Job requirements.
Focus on your technical skills, project, work experience, and Internships.
You can expect problem-solving also in a technical interview with an Android Developer.

HR Round

For this final HR Round, focus on COmmon hr questions. It will be very simple, they will ask some common HR Questions and then they will ask about Joining duration, Location, shifts, and finally salary negotiation.
