Position Description of Tesla Energy
You will cooperate with other software engineers to develop internal tools that help oversee the design, permission and set up of energy products and systems at Tesla. They are working to make the platform dependable and able to manage all products that are available now from Tesla Energy and Vehicles, as well as any upcoming ones.
Responsibilities of a Tesla Energy Frontend engineer
- Ensure that applications and systems in the team’s scope are designed, built, tested and maintained.
- Creating well-constructed, polished and testable code helps to build the desired new features and repair bugs.
- Make sure to write unit tests, integration tests and team up with the QA team to perform regression whenever you add any new features.
- Check live system information, react to notifications and solve problems in the production environment
- Study and decide on how to make improvements to the current technology in the system
- Join the discussions with Product, Design and Business experts to figure out which new features should be worked on first
- Report any updates in cost, drop-down tasks or things slowing the project to its stakeholders right away
- Design, develop, test and release your own features and projects to the production environment
- Improve how well an application can grow in size, can be looked after, is available and what error messages it displays.
- Stay organized by writing down all the changes made to new technologies and applications.
Requirements of a Tesla Energy Frontend engineer
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or an equivalent study or experience
- A sound grasp of basics like HTTP, REST, AJAX and JSON is needed. Ability to use HTML, CSS and JavaScript / ES6, plus the object model and DOM methods
- Being able to work with database principles, mostly how to query and update SQL databases
- Knowing the guidelines and methods involved in making and using RESTful APIs
- Being well-versed in key design concepts and usual design patterns of Angular
- Familiarity with common front-end development tools, for example, Vite, NPM and Yarn.
- Knowledge of GraphQL can really help.
