TCS B.Sc Ignite and Smart Hiring is an exciting opportunity for candidates who completed or are pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Application, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Cyber Security, Biochemistry, B.Voc (Computer Science/Information Technology) from the Batch of 2025 and 2026.

Candidates for both TCS Ignite and Smart hiring will undergo a single integrated test.

TCS Ignite:

Candidates who perform well in the TCS B.Sc Ignite and Smart Hiring integrated test process will move to TCS Ignite selection – TCS’ distinctive ‘Science to Software’ program.

Test pattern for Ignite & Smart Hiring

The Shortlisted Candidates must attend the in-person exam.

It consists of 4 sections with a duration of 120 mins.

  • Numerical Ability
  • Verbal Ability
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Coding (Optional)

TEST Eligibility

  • Degree: Bachelor of Computer Application, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Cyber Security, Biochemistry, B.Voc (Computer Science/Information Technology) from the Batch of 2025 and 2026.
  • Percentage: 50% or above or equivalent CGPA in 10th, 12th, Diploma (if applicable), and Graduation.
  • Backlogs: No standing arrears at the time of appearing for the selection process. For the 2026 batch, one standing arrear allowed at the time of appearing for the TCS selection process is permitted. 
  • You must complete the graduation at stipulated time duration without any arrears at the time of joining TCS, if selected.
  • Course Types: Full-time courses only will be considered.
  • Age criteria: Min age – 18 years and Max age – 28 years.

Hiring Types

Based on the test performance, you will be shortlisted for Ignite or Smart hiring further rounds. The final selection category of the test will be subject to your performance in the interview process.
