The team
The Digital Excellence Centre is responsible for developing products and platforms for Deloitte India that focus on providing an extraordinary customer experience by putting design thinking and trailblazing technology at the center of what they do. The diverse team consists of subject matter experts, technology specialists, quality engineers, user experience researchers & designers, data scientists, and product managers.
Roles & Resposibilities
As an Executive in our DEC Team, you’ll develop and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: –
- Work on software implementation, application support, and basic web application development for client-facing systems.
- Understand client business requirements and translate them into product configurations, workflows, and technical implementation solutions.
- Apply fundamentals of record structures, algorithms, and problem-solving to troubleshoot and optimize application behavior.
- Build, customize, and support features using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL.
- Work with web technologies such as React.js, Node.js, or FastAPI to support modern web applications (exposure preferred).
- Integrate systems using REST APIs and manage record flow across RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Help deploy, configure, and support applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Troubleshoot implementation and production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact to clients.
- Support client onboarding, training, and system integrations in a client-facing technical job.
- Follow security and records protection best practices while handling application records and configurations.
Key Skills required
- 0–2 years of experience in software implementation, application support, or web application development.
- Basic understanding of record structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL.
- Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into product configurations, workflows, and implementation solutions.
- Hands-on exposure to web technologies such as React.js, Node.js, or FastAPI is a plus.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, records integrations, and working with RDBMS/NoSQL databases.
- Experience or exposure to deploying or configuring applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to troubleshoot implementation issues, support deployments, and help with client onboarding and integrations.
- Understanding of security and records protection best practices.
- Ability to draft clean, reusable, and testable code when required.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or PyTest is a plus.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and eager to learn and grow in a client-facing technical job.
