JD for IT & Integrated Smart Operations

You will work with database queries, perform CRUD operations, and create stored procedures. Your tasks will include preparing and running tests, resolving service tickets, and using IT Service Management and Records Analytics tools. We value a strong interest in innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify how tables are connected and write database queries to retrieve records.
  • Demonstrate CRUD operations and draft stored procedures for a given Low-Level Design.
  • Prepare test cases, scripts, or records and execute manual or automated tests.
  • Analyze the root cause and fix service tickets in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in tools related to IT Service Management and Records Analytics.
  • Possess a strong drive to innovate & experiment in projects.

Eligibility

  • Candidates from the 2024, 2025, or 2026 graduated batch of 3-year UG degree in BCA, BSc – Computer Science, Information Technology (allied streams), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics & Electronics with a minimum 60% in academics. (Rounding off 59.9% is not allowed.
  • Candidates should possess a consistent academic record with a minimum 60% in X, XII, Diploma, and UG (rounding off 59.9% is not allowed).
  • At the time of joining, all recruits need to have a minimum 60% aggregate in the 3-year UG degree with no arrears.
  • Appropriate CGPA to % conversion to be considered as per university norms.
  • Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office location at a given shift timing, and any technology is mandatory.
  • Open to Indian nationals / OCIs who are currently residing in India.

JD FOR ANALYST TRAINEE ALIGNED TO MULTICLOUD

The candidate will maintain and administer computing environments, monitor production servers, and handle incident management. Additionally, the candidate will provide support for Windows, Network, Database, Storage, Messaging, Collaboration, and Cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate activities based on defined guidelines in SOPs/Runbooks with an understanding of business impact.
  • Adhere to customers’ security and compliance requirements.
  • Follow customer communication etiquette.
  • Confirm stated productivity requirements for the engagement.
  • Contribute to continuous service improvement plans (CSI).
  • Participate proactively in knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Act as a buddy for new hires.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and processes (including Cognizant’s security policies, LP, timelines, etc.).

Job Expectations

  • An associate should be client-focused and able to work with users from different communities and cultures across the globe.
  • An associate should be willing to work in a 24/7 environment and be open to relocating to any part of India based on project requirements.

JD FOR ANALYST TRAINEE ALIGNED TO DIGITAL WORKPLACE SERVICES

The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to Cognizant clients, including troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, and confirming the smooth functioning of their computer systems and IT services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing their IT-related issues and inquiries. Log and track all support tickets, confirming accurate documentation and timely resolution of Issues.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software Issues, demonstrating debugging and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate complex issues and confirm prompt resolution. Maintain knowledge base articles and documentation to improve self-service options and facilitate efficient Issue-solving.

Job Expectations

  • An associate should be client-focused and able to work with users from different communities and cultures across the globe.
  • Ability to have flawless communication (verbal and written) with Cognizant clients and possess sound technical knowledge.
  • Work in shifts and work from the office.
