Job Description
The Asset Servicing Analyst is a developing professional job. Applies specialty area to monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and records. Identifies gaps and formulates policies. Interprets records and makes recommendations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- You have to manage reconciling and processing positions related to Corporate Action events.
- This includes revising communications and notifications, and facilitating Corporate Action postings.
- Reviews all Corporate Actions received and ensures a detailed understanding of processing requirements.
- Liaises with all the units and departments relating to and impacting clients on Corporate Action or Proxy items.
- Proactively reconciles instructions versus eligible holders and executes client votes.
- Resolves all discrepancies within department standards.
- Reviews and updates all processes and procedures timely and accurately.
- Identifies and reports any gaps or system enhancements.
- Contributes to all testing and successful implementations.
- Escalates issues to management, participates in cross-training activities, and performs all other role duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- 0-2 years freshers or with relevant experience
- Knowledge of multiple types of investment instruments including:
- Equity securities
- Fixed Income
- Asset-Backed securities
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word; Access is desired)
- Proven success as a team player
Preferred Education
- Bachelor’s or University degree or equivalent experience
