DESCRIPTION of Machine Learning Data Associate
An Associate is supposed to review the video depicting stowing at a fulfillment center, figure out what happened, use their experience and assets, and indicate the items displayed in the clip. Their job consists of checking or marking the location of a product using a certain tool with the highest accuracy. Carrying out the process ensures that our storage in the fulfillment center is in good shape. This is considered an operational position. Under the general guidance of a manager, the Associate carefully audits video/images with accuracy and promptness, which helps reduce defects.
Expected to do as Machine Learning Data Associate
During a shift, the Associate needs to watch a lot of videos and answer them according to guidelines for correctness, time taken, and proper procedures. Every so many hours, associates have to pause their work and make sure they spend at least 6.8 to 7 hours per day answering videos. Work from home associates should have their own (1) table, chair, and proper lighting, along with keeping their (2) data from the job secure.
It is important for the candidate to show:
Will accept a role that is not technical for six months.
The system can deal with image/video/text-based jobs in audit mode.
- Skill to get details from unclear, less sharp footage and respond accurately. Calls for you to give your full attention & focus while on the screen
- Readiness to accomplish small steps aimed at better quality & productivity
- Things get done fast, and the work is of a constant standard
- Can manage rotating work shifts (night or otherwise), is part of remote teams and is a strong team player
- Being willing to come into the office for some days (for remote workers who may be asked)
How an average day is spent as a Machine Learning Data Associate
Associates work in an environment where shifts happen around the clock. They will complete their work during a 9-hour shift, including draws they took in advance with the A Store. Schedules might change every 3-4 months or follow the needs of the business. If the employee is working during the night shift, the company will provide night shift allowance according to Amazon’s work policy.
Your days off will be two in a row every week, or else as decided by the company (it does not have to be Saturday and Sunday).
Details of the Machine Learning Data Associate team
The Data Auditing Operations team helps Amazon Fulfillment centers allow hands-free active stowing by viewing videos and images. Short videos that last about 15–20 seconds are passed to the Operations Team to be reviewed by humans with product information from warehouses. When using these videos in business, they should always be tested and checked by people using reasonable care. Allowing Associates to examine videos in Audit Mode ensures increased effectiveness of the automated process. Following this process ensures goods are properly stowed in the fulfillment center and the Associate will receive further evaluation and coaching.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Having a bachelor’s degree as the preferred qualification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Agree to work shifts or schedules that might involve Saturdays, Sundays, nights and holidays
